Let's see what's happened since May 15th:
1. Moved ALL my furnishings and life from Vegas to Anchorage, AK.
2. Visited the FRANCO'S and ZWEIFEL'S in Oregon (on our way to Alaska). It was great to see all the grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins! Also saw old friends from Life Center. SO fun!
3. May 20th - arrived in Anchorage at 11:45 pm. Pastor Gary, Alice, and Garrison met us there. Oh yes, a good pastor friend named Terri was there to greet us with balloons.
4. Monday, May 26th - A group of Master's commission students helped unload our Shipping crate into our new house.
5. Tuesday - moved into my new church office
6. Working at Anchorage 1st Assembly is great. I have the best students ever.
7. Went to Little Beaver camp for week 1 to assist Mark in his new DYD roles. Mark shaved his hair bald because students raised over $2400 for STL.
8. Mark went to Juneau for their summer camp. Great and amazing camp!
9. Went to Little Beaver camp for week 2 with my students. AMAZING camp! Oh..forgot. My durango was in an accident.
10. Week of mission's teams at Anchorage 1st. Outreach time almost every night.
11. Mark gone to camp AN for a week. Comes back for a day and heads to Spokane for another camp. Missing him TONS!
Here's what hasn't happened yet:
Still need to paint my house
Still haven't seen a doctor for the new baby
Still need a crib and a few more baby furniture things
Still need to unpack some boxes. YIKES!
Have to get my durango repaired from accident.
Baby Paityn is due the end of August. We can hardly wait for her to come. I'm somewhat sad because this will be the last time we'll get pregnant. It's been a great pregnancy and can't wait to see that little one.
The 4th of July was interesting. It didn't get dark here till 2:00pmish. I couldn't stay up that late. It'll be unique every year. But, loving the summer here. It's gorgeous. I hear it's not that way most summers....but I'm believing it will be. I'm so excited for the snow to fall. I know I'm a little over zealous about it, but I'm imagining a WHITE CHRISTMAS. YAY!
That's all for now. I'm watching a movie with my kids and it's so hot in our upstair loft. We're about to head down to the basement where it's MUCH cooler.
I'll promise to blog more and make sure to keep all posted of what's happening in the life of the ZWEIFEL'S! tata
