It's a girl (we think)

Yesterday I went in for a non-appointment ultra sound. A sweet friend of mine is an ultrasound tech and was gracious enough to have me come in at 14 weeks to see if we could see anything. And we didn't see ANYTHING. Meaning, no extra boy parts. We're pretty certain we're adding another Zweifey Beauty to our family. I'm excited. Never in a million years did I think I'd have 4 girls. WOW! 4 girls. Maybe we'll adopt a boy.....who knows. The girls are VERY EXCITED and so am I.

Lots of things need to happen before the BIG MOVE to Alaska. Major one would be "Packing up." I am dreading this part. 2500 sq. feet of a house that's been lived in for almost 7 years. Oh, I almost forgot the 4 car garage that is well occupied too. YIKES! I feel like the little engine that could, "I think I can , I think I can..."

But put in a spiritual perspective, the bible has that same verse. Oh, you didn't know that? Except it sounds something like this, "I know I can, I know I can..." I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME. There's no "thinking" about it. I am using, stuffing and claiming this power verse.

Recently I've been offered a wonderful ministry opp in Alaska. Doing something I have a passion for....which is youth and music. Close friends have asked, "are you going to be able to do this with 4 kids and one being a new baby, and assisting Mark with his new role." I know their concerns are valid and are done with the utmost love and respect. And that's where I start that little engine in my head and heart, "I know I can, I know I can...."
Ministry for me doesn't stop because I have 4 kids and Mark has a new role. That is my #1 ministry. Always will be. But loving and coaching people to God and leading a song in worship is something that I consider a natural part of my Christian walk. I just have the honors of making it my fulltime vocation. If that is always the center, I know I will see a wonderful harvest for the kingdom.

"Reaching people....Through people." I love this saying. I can't do any of this on my own. It can never be a "person/pastor" ministry. Of course, God is ultimately the one who resources it all. However, I believe the success of this ministry will be "reaching people...through people."

Yay! 4 little girls!! Amazing! I have a friend who had 4 girls and then she was preggo... with twin girls... lol. I always kid around when people ask me if I'm gonna try for another on - I have 4 boys. I say, "yeah, and then with the way things are going, we'd end up with twin boys."
Can't wait till you join your hubby up here in Alaska. We saw him in January and he was missin' you.
I was actually hoping you'd be here sooner to preach to our girls only event end of April... but I'm sure we'll have plenty of events to ask you to preach at...
Be blessed... exceedingly abundantly, above all you can think or imagine...
