Today is a great day. Woke up early and planned to do devotions (PLANNED is the key word here) and it didn't happen. My house is in a little disarray. My husband and his twin brother put in new granite tile in our house and the kitchen is not at all put together. I don't have a sink, which means no disposal, which then means nothing to dump the extra cereal my kids don't eat.
I realize that without certain things in my kitchen.....I can't function as normal; which is the reason I didn't get to my devotions this morning. But as 1 Thessalonians 5:18 states, "Give thanks for ALL things - it's God's will that I do so" (Zweifel paraphrasing). I am thankful I have a kitchen to go in to, a husband who is crafty enough to do it, kids I can prepare breakfast for, and most of all....TIME. God gives me 24 hours a day and somewhere in there...he expects to spend time with me.
I'm grateful for all things and circumstances...... And the time I'll spend with the Lord later this evening.
