Okay… so I was going to start this post with another apology (maybe cuz I feel a little guilty…) and I realized that I’ve been apologizing a lot lately because of my inconsistency with blogging, when I really don’t need to be. Maybe it comes from a “people-pleaser” nature.....but I'm not really one to dwell what people think of me. I don’t want to disappoint people. I want them to know they can trust me. But that has nothing to do with blogging. I think I'm just trying NOT to disappoint myself! :-)
The funny thing about this post, is that it is still in it’s way an apology, or maybe just an announcement. “HEY, I’M GOING TO STOP APOLOGIZING FOR BEING WHO I AM!” I'm a busy lady (singing Beyonce's "single lady" song.) This is what a day looks like in the life of Heidi. BTW..this is my day off:Wake up...try to work out for 45 min (6am)
Make 4-6 lunches (depending if Mark and I are eating out for lunch)
Prepare breakfast
Wake kids up (again and again and again)
Make sure they eat
Help them make sure they're clothes match, ironed, hair combed, etc..
Wake up New baby Paityn
Change her, feed her, clean clothe her
Kick kids out of the door by 8:25am
Put Paityn in a SECURE something....she's mobile
Shower, do hair, change
Gather Paityn's diaper bag and make sure all the RIGHT stuff is in it
Head out the door...drive 15 minutes to work
And begin WORK!
(If I'm lucky...I'll have time to get a coffee at Kaladis.
I just felt like it needed to be written for whatever reason. Maybe someone needed to hear it. Maybe I just needed to see it written out. Maybe you also need to hear that my house isn't always SPIC and SPAN CLEAN. And, I'm the worst when it comes to laundry! Okay… now on to bigger and better things. We're having a special friend over for fried Halibut. It's gonna be a good night
