OK...So I've been VERY unfaithful with my blog. I know there are readers out there, so please accept my sincere apology. Flat out - I've been busy and lazy!
Christmas has come and passed and now I'm awaiting the NEW YEAR 2010. I was thinking the other day....Do you remember the movie, "Back to the Future 1 and 2?" I had a MAJOR crush on Michael j. Fox (as most young girls in that day did)! That movie was portraying what it will be like in the future. Cool cars and skateboards that flew, the "sweetest" microwave dinners, Technology to it's coolest! Here's the catch....that future was in the year 2016! Only 6 years from where we're currently at. WOW!!! I highly doubt we'll be there with all that technology in 2016....we can barely get over the insurance crisis!
So, how was your Christmas? It was wonderful in the Zweifel house. My girls were blessed with wonderful gifts. Mark and I were blessed also. We did something different this year. Maybe a new tradition...we had the girls present a gift to Jesus. Braydee and Macy sang a song and BRaxtyn drew a beautiful picture of all of Jesus' miracles. I have it all on video. Paityn, (the new Zweifelette) slept soundly. Then, they ripped into their presents!
Mark got an awesome gift. He absolutely LOVES it. THe new Kindle. Holds 1500 books in it. Pretty Snazzy. They didn't have this on any of the "Back to the Future" movies.
I got the coolest gift of all. Well, at least for me. My DODGE durango finally is painted! I don't feel so ghetto now. For those that don't know, I'd been driving my car with a black hood for 5 months now. Now, it's all ONE color and looks beautiful. I also received other things, but I'm really taking a liking to this gift.
I worked out today and I'm feeling really good. Listened to a great podcast during my workout. WOW! Makes the time go by so fast. Especially the way my husband Mark showed me how. If a podcast's normal time is 45 minutes, there's a speed level you can adjust to make it half the time. Of course, the speaker sounds s LITTLE like Alvin and the chipmunks, but it's totally bearable and you can hear just fine. So, If I have a 45 minute workout, I can hear 2 podcasts. Really allows the time to fly by. You should try it.
Tomorrow, I'm going to blog of all the amazing and not so amazing things/events that happened in 2009. I'm so thankful to my Lord for another wonderful year. However, right now I must cut it short....I have 2 extra tween girls that stayed the night here and I have to cook breakfast. My poor Mark....he had 7 girls in the house last night. What a lucky guy.
