6 month anniversary is coming up!!

WOW!! SO much has happened in the "almost" 6 months I've been here. Not to mention...yesterday it was snowing. I know people think I'm nuts....but I'm def going to look at the winters here in Anchorage different than most people do. The freshly, new, white snow will remind me of:
Clean starts (Christ has given me)
My sin has been made white as snow (it once was scarlett)
Reflecting (How Jesus keeps showering me with blessings)
Smooth (How my life is much smoother with Him in it)
Icy (I need good tires in the weather to help me get to where I'm going...I need Jesus on my side to help me get through LIFE)
Cold and Brisk (As it's cold outside...I've been giving life and breath to breathe his mercies that are new every morning. Plus, warm stews and hot choclate are a must afterwards...oh how they warm my body as Jesus warms my soul.
Fun - Snow is just fun to play in....as my Savior is fun to have as my best friend.

I know the winters are long here. It's a choice to be positive in a dark and cold environment. But it's where I'm at right now. And, I'm going to make it hte best place possible. It'll be a blast!

You can def tell what's on my mind!

We just finished Youth conference 09 and it was amazing. Mark (my honey) did an amazing job, Along with all the youth pastors that made this event such a success. We are so blessed to have these youth pastors. Mark and I appreciate them so much.

Paityn is doing well. she had her 2 month checkup and is growing normally. SHe's absolutely adorable and cute! She's a great baby. Hardly cries.... and is beginning to smile a lot.

The other 3 girls are marvelous. Braydee ( my 2nd daughger) is about to lose a tooth any day now. This is her first one to lose. And let me tell you...she's so excited! We're going to celebrate with her when it happens. It's also parent teacher conferences this week. I'm so thankful for a good school.

I'm ready for a great Tuesday.
